2023 Arnaud et Sophie Sirugue-Noëllat, Gevrey-Chambertin "En Champs," Burgundy - 750ML

From a small parcel in the lieu-dit En Champs, this Gevrey-Chambertin reflects the refined, terroir-focused style of Arnaud et Sophie Sirugue-Noellat. The 2023 vintage in the Côte de Nuits delivered expressive fruit with vibrant energy, and this wine captures Gevrey’s signature depth while maintaining the lifted elegance characteristic of carefully farmed village sites.

Blend: 100% Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes: Aromas of ripe red cherry, wild strawberry, and raspberry unfold alongside subtle notes of rose petal, forest floor, and gentle spice. The palate shows fresh red fruit layered with hints of clove, crushed stone, and delicate earth, finishing with fine-grained tannins and a lifted mineral edge.

Structure: Medium-bodied, finely textured, and precise with polished tannins and vibrant acidity.

Drink Window: 2027–2038

Decanting: In its youth, 45–60 minutes of decanting will help the aromatics open and soften the youthful structure.

A beautifully balanced expression of village Gevrey-Chambertin, this wine delivers both approachability and classic Côte de Nuits character, making it an excellent choice for Burgundy enthusiasts seeking purity of fruit, subtle complexity, and graceful aging potential.
