Tasting Notes

Hamptons Tasting Note: Ripe black cherry and plum lead, followed by cocoa dust, gentle graphite, and a floral lift. Medium-bodied and smooth through the mid-palate, with fresh acidity keeping the fruit bright and tannins staying polished rather than strict.

Style & Specs

• Region/Appellation: Lalande-de-Pomerol (Libournais, Bordeaux)
• Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot
• Body/structure: Medium body; “bright and punchy” profile noted by Decanter
• Producer note: Small family estate; vineyards planted in the 1960s; family run for three generations

When to Drink

2025–2032+. For peak texture, give it a 30–60 minute decant in the first few years. (Many Lalande-de-Pomerols show well young, yet can age gracefully.)
