Blend: Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and small portions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot (classic Saint-Estèphe composition).

Tasting Notes: The nose reveals blackcurrant, red plum, and blackberry layered with cedar, graphite, and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with cassis, dark cherry, and hints of spice supported by fresh acidity. The tannins are present but well-integrated, providing structure without heaviness, and the finish is clean and savory with a touch of mineral grip.

Structure: Classically structured, balanced, and medium-bodied with firm yet approachable tannins.

Drink Window: 2019–2032

Decanting: Decant 45–60 minutes before serving to allow the aromatics to open and the structure to soften.

The 2014 Tour de Pez offers a straightforward, classic Saint-Estèphe profile suited for current enjoyment. A dependable, dinner-ready Bordeaux that delivers structure and typicity without requiring extended cellaring.
