Produced by the Perrin family from vineyards immediately east of Château de Beaucastel, Coudoulet is one of the Rhône’s most distinctive Côtes-du-Rhône bottlings. Its soils share the same rolled-stone character associated with neighboring Châteauneuf-du-Pape, giving the wine notable depth, warmth, and mineral definition while retaining the accessibility expected of the appellation.

Blend: Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Cinsault. The exact proportions vary by vintage; the 2023 is documented at 30% each Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir, and Syrah, with 10% Cinsault.

Tasting Notes: Ripe red and black berries lead the aromatic profile, joined by crushed strawberry, dark cherry, violet, pepper, dried herbs, and classic garrigue. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, supple, and layered, with polished tannins, savory spice, and a fresh mineral thread that keeps the generous fruit balanced.
