Blend: 100% Chardonnay.

Tasting Notes: Pear and crisp apple lead into white peach, spring flowers and a restrained almond note, with a cool stony character underneath. The palate is supple yet focused, combining ripe orchard fruit with bright acidity and a clean, mineral finish.

Structure: Medium-bodied, fresh and finely balanced, with enough mid-palate texture to give the wine substance without losing its precision. Ten months of élevage with just 10% new barrels provides gentle breadth and seasoning while keeping the Chardonnay and site firmly in focus.

Drink Window: Now–2032. The domaine specifically emphasizes the wine’s youthful freshness and ability to develop over the next several years; the 2024 has the concentration and balance to reward short- to medium-term cellaring while being highly appealing from release.

Decanting: No extended decanting is necessary. Serve around 50–54°F in a white Burgundy glass; when opened young, 15–20 minutes in the glass will help reveal its texture and mineral detail.

Les Femelottes is particularly compelling for Burgundy drinkers who value site over the name printed at the appellation level: this is Bourgogne Blanc from Chardonnay grown immediately beside Puligny-Montrachet village vineyards.
