Domaine Hubert Meyer is a family-owned estate based in Blienschwiller, in the heart of Alsace’s winegrowing region. Its Crémant d’Alsace Rosé offers a fresh, finely textured expression of Pinot Noir, produced using the traditional method of secondary fermentation in bottle. Delicate red fruit, lively acidity and a refined mousse make this an appealing alternative to Champagne, with the versatility to move comfortably from aperitif to the dinner table.
Blend: 100% Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes: Fresh strawberry, raspberry and red currant are complemented by subtle rose petals, crisp red apple and a delicate suggestion of brioche. The palate is bright and refreshing, with juicy red-berry fruit, fine bubbles and a gently creamy texture. A clean, lightly savory finish brings freshness and balance.
Structure: Light to medium-bodied, with Pinot Noir providing delicate red-fruit depth and subtle structure. Lively acidity and a fine mousse keep the wine focused and refreshing, emphasizing elegance rather than richness.
Drink Window: Enjoy now, ideally within 2–3 years of purchase. This Crémant is particularly appealing for its youthful fruit and freshness, although careful short-term cellaring may introduce additional savory complexity.
Serving: Serve around 45–49°F in a tulip-shaped sparkling-wine or white-wine glass. Allow a few minutes after pouring for its red-fruit aromatics and delicate texture to emerge.
Hubert Meyer Crémant d’Alsace Rosé is a versatile choice for celebrations, brunches and relaxed entertaining, offering traditional-method finesse with an inviting, fruit-driven character. Its freshness and gentle structure make it particularly well suited to smoked salmon, charcuterie, roast poultry, grilled shrimp and light appetizers.
