From its base in Cramant in the Côte des Blancs, Voirin-Jumel builds this non-vintage Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs from 100% Chardonnay, drawing fruit from grand cru villages including Cramant, Chouilly, and Avize. It is a classic grower Champagne style: bright, mineral, and finely structured, with the chalky precision that makes Côte des Blancs Blanc de Blancs so compelling.
Blend: 100% Chardonnay.
Tasting Notes: Aromas of citrus peel, green apple, white flowers, and cool chalk lead into a palate marked by lemon fruit, orchard fruit, light creaminess, and a persistent mineral line. The mousse is fine, the profile fresh and lively, with a clean aperitif-ready finish.
Structure: Fresh, linear, and mineral-driven with polished texture and brisk acidity.
Drink Window: Drink now through 2028. Wine Enthusiast notes it is ready to enjoy now; a conservative near-term window suits the house style and non-vintage format.
Decanting: No decanting needed. Serve well chilled and allow a few minutes in the glass to let the citrus, floral, and chalky notes open fully. For a more vinous expression, serve in a white wine glass rather than a narrow flute.
